There wasn’t any reason to write about my name so far, but I have been intrigued by it nonetheless. Here are the meanings associated with my name:
- “Kedar” is one of the names of the Hindu God – “Lord Shankar”
- “Kedar” is also one of the “ragas” in Indian Classical Music
- I found out that Kedar.com is owned by some Kedar Massenburg who owns Kedar Entertainment company in NY.
- Just today, I found out that Kedar was the son of Ishmael in Abraham’s family tree – which Jesus belongs to as well..
- Here is something in Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kedar)
And I used to think that Kedar was an Indian-only name!
